General

Language

CrossPaste supports 10 languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Deutsch, English, Español, فارسی, Français, 한국어, 日本語, Português. The app follows the iOS system language by default.

Theme

Choose between Light, Dark, or Follow System to match your preference.

Network

Device Discovery

Toggle automatic device discovery on or off. When enabled, CrossPaste broadcasts on the local network to find other CrossPaste devices.

Network Interface Selection

Select which network interface to use for device discovery and sync.

Storage

Storage Stats

View how much space your clipboard history is using.

Sync File Size Limit

Set a maximum file size for synced content to manage bandwidth and storage.

Auto-Cleanup

CrossPaste automatically removes old items to free up space. Tagged items are exempt from auto-cleanup.

Feature Toggles & Permissions

CrossPaste includes a permission management center that shows the status of each permission — granted, not granted, or not yet requested. Tap any permission to jump directly to iOS Settings.

Key iOS permissions:

• Local Network: Required for device discovery and sync.
• Photos: Required for syncing images to and from your photo album.
• Camera: Required for QR code scanning during device pairing.

iOS background limitation

iOS suspends apps approximately 30 seconds after they move to the background. For quick sync while CrossPaste is not in the foreground, use Shortcuts to trigger actions on demand.
