iOS Keyboard Extension
Access your cross-device clipboard directly from any app's input field with the CrossPaste keyboard extension. This is a Pro feature.
Enable the Keyboard
- Open iOS Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards
- Tap Add New Keyboard...
- Select CrossPaste
- Tap CrossPaste again and enable Allow Full Access
Full Access is required
The keyboard extension needs Full Access to load your real-time clipboard data. Your data is safe — it is never uploaded to any cloud server. All data is stored locally on your device and shared only between your trusted paired devices.
Switch to the CrossPaste Keyboard
Long-press the globe icon (🌐) on your keyboard and select CrossPaste from the list.
Browse & Insert
Once the CrossPaste keyboard is active, you can browse your recent clipboard items. Tap any item to insert it directly into the current text field. Both text and images are supported.
Smart Features
- Auto-refresh: The clipboard list refreshes automatically each time the keyboard appears, so you always see the latest items.
- Tag filtering: Filter items by tag to quickly find what you need.
Usage Scenarios
The CrossPaste keyboard is ideal for:
- Messaging: Quickly insert saved text or images in WeChat, iMessage, and other chat apps.
- Email: Paste frequently used content in Mail or other email clients.
- Notes: Insert clipboard items directly into your notes without switching apps.
- Form filling: Reuse saved text for addresses, codes, and other repetitive fields.
