iOS Devices & Sync
CrossPaste bridges the Apple ecosystem with all platforms. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, Android — as long as they're on the same local network, your clipboard syncs in real time.
Auto-Discovery
CrossPaste uses LAN broadcast to automatically discover other CrossPaste devices on the same network. No cloud servers, no account registration required.
Pairing Methods
CrossPaste offers three ways to pair devices:
1. QR Code Scan
The quickest method — scan the QR code displayed on the other device to pair instantly. The QR code refreshes periodically for security.
2. Pairing Code Input
Enter the 6-character pairing code shown on the other device. Useful when camera access is inconvenient.
3. Manual IP Connection
Manually enter the IP address of the target device. Use this when auto-discovery is unavailable (e.g., devices on different subnets).
Device Management
Once devices are paired, you can manage them from the Devices screen:
- Rename: Swipe left on a device and tap the pencil button to rename it for easier identification.
- Sync direction control: Configure whether to allow receiving from and/or sending to each device.
- Remove device: Swipe left and tap remove to unpair a device.
Removing a device requires re-pairing
Once a device is removed, you will need to go through the pairing process again to reconnect it.
Desktop Integration
CrossPaste supports real-time sync with desktop devices running CrossPaste. All paste types are supported, and you can target specific devices for sync.
